Nightlife Tips

  • Peak season: June–September — July and August are the busiest. Many clubs are summer-only.
  • Watch your drinks — Never leave them unattended. Don't accept drinks from strangers.
  • Stay hydrated — Mediterranean heat plus alcohol is a bad combination.
  • No glass on beaches — Prohibited in most municipalities. Stick to cans or plastic.
  • Foam parties — Wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked. Protect your phone.
  • Travel in groups — Especially late at night. Stick together.
  • Pre-arrange transport — If going to out-of-town clubs, know how you're getting back.
  • Calella is walkable — All bars and clubs are in the compact centre. No taxi needed.
